Arrive at Friendship Beach Resort where "Pitta" will be waiting to take you on a gentle cruise through the mangroves and on to the Mudong River. Here you will see traditional Mussel and fish farms that float in the salty waters.
Usually you will see fishermen on their longtail boats, dropping their pots, expecting their share of the sea's bounty.
We travel through traditional Thai villages with the friendly locals waving back at us. After a short cruise, we will bump into the other locals, the monkeys in the area.
It is great fun to go up to the trees in a kayak and feed the monkeys as they perch in the mangrove trees. While some are on the kayaks, others will enjoy feeding the monkeys as they climb onto "Pitta". After a while it is time to venture further up the river to spot the many colourful birds and the occasional reptile.
All too soon we have to depart for Friendship Beach Resort, where you can continue the enjoyment in the pool.

You will kayak through the Mudong River, through deserted mangroves where the birds nestle in peace (even with our presence) and monkeys play on the river banks, through traditional Thai villages where the kids give us enthusiastic waves as we pass gently by.
Explore Yon Bay by kayak
Then it's on to Yon bay for a little kayaking through the floating pearl farms or have a dip in the peaceful bay, a refreshing drink of fruit juice or even a shower to cool you off is always welcome, lazing onboard is another option.
A relaxing peaceful day had by all with river rovers.
